1) Discussion: remarks and comments.

Gian Piero

I have a fair knowledge of the Gospels: though half-hearted believer, I'm very interested in everything concerning cults and religions. Curiosity is urging me to explore VERB TO LIVE and, as I proceed in my examination, I realise it must have cost a lot in terms of study and time. I'd like to know the reason for such an effort, since everyone can find the "Daily Gospel" even in the missals and work out himself what VERB TO LIVE does for his readers.

The reason is quite simple, Gian Piero: not everyone has the fair knowledge of the Gospels you have. Many find the language of the Gospels difficult and hard to understand. Someone who isn't trained to meditate and make a thorough study of It, finds it hard to transfer its lessons to every day's life. All of these factors deter many people from the possibility to use It as an ever topical and useful guide. And that's a pity; don't you think so too? So, we tried to make up for the difficulty of approach by a preparatory work, clearly and easily understood by all: our feverish times don't allow much space to individual meditation and don't encourage the deciphering of hardly comprehensible texts. This hard (and, you're right, exacting) "work" of ours, aims at letting even those too involved in today's frenzy discover or rediscover an extraordinary richness, which belongs to everyone and, if someone does the hard "preparatory work" for them, can really get to everyone!

Who is vovevi, who is behind it? Are you priests or are you laymen or women? I mean, who guarantees the suggestions based on these passages are trustworthy? I don't want to be a Saint Thomas, but one hears such things!

On the contrary, it's only right to act like Saint Thomas! In the Gospels, this distrustful character plays a significant and absolutely not casual role. He represents suspicion, that's true, but prudence too: as VERB TO LIVE isn't The Word, in which one must believe through a profound, fundamental act of faith, but only a translation of It with an oracular purpose, your question is absolutely legitimate.
In any case, more than who is "physically" behind VERB TO LIVE, the best question would be on its origin and on the criteria it follows to propose its suggestions with the necessary reliability. Let me clarify a fundamental thing: in the messages of VERB TO LIVE, there is absolutely nothing sacred or "divine". They are mere deductions, almost automatically derived from the deep study of the New Testament, and from the interpretations of It scholars have given through centuries of theological studies. To these almost obvious deductions, we have applied a "technique" for coupling the messages derived from the ancient law of numbers and the principle of random. This is all! So, are the messages of VERB TO LIVE reliable? On the basis we've just given, yours is the answer....
